8th Int'l Tiroler Nachtkoasa Night Team Race

The Nachtkoasa night race is a freestyle team race where teams of two take turns to complete a 2.6-kilometer loop in Koasastadion in St. Johann in Tirol. The team that completes the most loops in 1,5 hours is the winner. The exciting race takes place on 10 February 2022 at 6:30pm.

Track: Koasastadion Night Track
Distance: approx. 2.6K / loop
Style: Freestyle
Requirements: Each team consists of two skiers. The first racer runs a loop and then trades off with his team mate, who then skis a loop. This continues until two hours are over. Racers must pass their bib to their teammate before they can resume racing. Competitors born in 2000 and earlier are eligible to participate in the Koasa Night Race.
Groups: women, men and coed teams race together.
Start: 6:30pm
Finish: 8pm: final heat
Ranking: Loop count: the team that completes the most loops in 1,5 hours wins. In the event of a draw, the team wit the fastest final loop wins.
Race Rules and Regulations: The Race Rule and Regulations of the Int'l Tiroler Koasalauf apply.
Late Registration: 10 Feb 2022: 5pm - 5:45pm at Koasastadion
Bib Pickup: 10 Feb 2022: from 5pm at Koasastadion, registration office
Course Inspection: until 5:50pm
Entry Fee: € 20,- / team (online), lat registration € 30,-
Award Ceremony: right after the race at Koasastadion; material prizes will be drawn among the teams
Prize: Cups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places
Food: There are no food or water stations. Racers have to bring what they need. The snack station in the stadium will be open.
