40 Koasalauf Races – 40 Participations

There are four athletes who have competed in every single one of the Tiroler Koasalauf’s forty races. In forty years, neither bad weather nor illness kept Mr. Puckl,Sr. Mr. Patz, Mr. Richter and Mr. Steinkogler from participating in the legendary Koasa Race - a feat that is very rarely accomplished by any athlete! The race organizers are very excited about the 2012 anniversary event and would like to thank all participants for making the Koasalauf what it is. Special thanks goes to the four anniversary racers! 

	Franz PUCKL Sr. from Going (AUT); born: 1935 "The Koasalauf is the ultimate Nordic skiing event for citizen racers. I will keep coming back as long as I have my health”, says Franz Puckl proudly.
	Werner PATZ from Kainach (AUT); born: 1941 "The Koasalauf is a truly unique event and I am always excited about racing here and spending a few days in the area", Werner Patz is looking forward to the anniversary race.
	Hans RICHTER from Kichweidach (GER); born: 1941 "I only came across the Tiroler Koasalauf by chance. That race really spurred my ambition and my passion for Nordic skiing into a passion”, explains Hans Richter.
	Franz STEINKOGLER from Ebensee (AUT); born 1949 "Do the Koasalauf once and you are hooked! I will be part of this race as long as my body lets me", says a highly motivated Mr. Steinkogler
